“The effects of stressors on ecological networks: three recent projects”
Bio: “Benno Simmons is a computational ecologist trying to understand and predict how ecological communities respond to global change and how best they can be conserved in the Anthropocene. He primarily does this through the lens of ecological networks, representing mutualistic or antagonistic interactions between species. Currently, Benno is a Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, working on the effects of invasive species on plant-pollinator networks. His talk today covers three projects, one published and two unpublished, all to do with the effects of stressors on ecological networks.”
